Mexico City

Being one of the top 5 largest cities in the world, you can’t help but feel impressed if not intimidated cruising above the wide expanse of urban development while landing at Mexico City International Airport. The City grows out of the center of what was once a legendary lake and rapidly creeps out of the mountainous basin that struggles to hold it in.

Looking down and studying this mega city from the air makes it clear that you may come here many times in your life and will likely never know its full story. But what we do know is that Mexico City is a busy, beautiful cultural center for Mexico and a heavy weight in the Latin American economy. There are no shortage of mercados full of venders selling their wares set up mere blocks away from contemporary skyscrapers that embody a distinctive and borderline defiant architectural vocabulary that differs from what one grows accustom to in the globalized economy.
